BUSINESS ANALYST JR
The Business Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
·Collect expectations and requirements of the customer.
·Write user stories and acceptance criteria utilizing Agile Methodology.
·Manage best practice and ensuring these practices are used.
·Understands the effects of technology used within the development, and the impact on the business client.
·Produce quality deliverables and meet deadlines.
·Customer' expectations management.
·Specifications (user stories) creation and reviewing.
·Business requirements gathering through capturing of user stories, prototyping etc.
·Analysis of as-is business processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
·Design to-be business processes, perform impact & feasibility analysis of the requirements.
·Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them.
·Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
·Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act.
·Establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations and regular status reporting.
·Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.
·Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values.
·Work with the Regional IT PMO continuously to document Project Management methodology, templates and tools and other PMO initiatives as required.
·Assist with reviewing IT committees such as Council, Architecture, Operational Readiness and Change Advisory Board.
·Working well under pressure, managing multiple priorities, dealing with ambiguity, and the willingness and ability to learn.
What You Will Bring
·Minimum 2 years of experience as Business Analyst.
·Good understanding of Agile framework (SCRUM).
·Requirements elicitation techniques: workshopping, document analysis, interviews.
·Requirements documentation through User Stories.
·Calm, agile, positive, proactive but pragmatic mindset.
·Good communication skills + customer management skills + team playing skills.
·Good experience with data visualization tools and technical (UML).
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
·Bachelor’s degree or higher (Systems/Industrial Engineer)
·Conversational English level.
·Desirable – BABU, Agile, CSM, PMI, PMP.
·Desirable – Experience working within Fixed Income, Capital Market and Mutual Funds domains is as a plus.
