Purpose:

Leads and oversees the Digital Business Banking unit in Perú, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

What we expect from you?

-Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

-Work experience: 10+ years of product management or development experience

-Proven knowledge of digital and experience deploying digital solutions

-Familiar with human-centered design, understanding the methodology behind creating amazing products and services

-Familiar with agile methodology and experience leading scrums

-Ability to manage P&L metrics and financial models

-Demonstrated competence and ability to influence senior executives

-Proven experience leading cross-functional projects

-Languages: Fluency in English.



What challenges will you face?

-Responsible for the overarching strategic vision, commercialization and deployment and sustainability of new Digital Channels and Products for all the Business Banking unit: From inception to Go to Market strategy

-Develops and is accountable for end-to-end product roadmaps. This implies prioritizing all digital products initiatives focused on business impact and technology feasibility of each initiative. Aligning with the Wholesale and Retail divisions as well to ensure constant connection with the overall business strategy and priorities

-Identifies, defines, and builds innovative digital Products and Services for customers: Understands and interprets external trends both within and outside of Financial Services to create new forms of value that attract customers and deepen their engagement with Scotiabank Products and Services

-Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge

-End to end responsibility over key metrics to measure success of the digital transformation of the organization, such as digital adoption, transaction migration, sales, revenue and NPS

-Develops strategic and partner relationships with key stakeholders at a peer level, at VP and SVP levels. Aligns business and product strategy with key senior management stakeholders, including Country CEO

-Manages financial projects, develops value-at-stake and total cost of ownership models, and defines KPIs to measure business outcomes and team success

-Establishes and maintains industry-leading standards for operational and business excellence, consistent and aligned with industry best practices and Bank Standards (e.g., service standards, audit, compliance, regulatory, operational risk)

-Leads and oversees a Program team, which includes cross functional capabilities such as: Design, Engineering, Delivery, Marketing, Analytics, ensuring a sustainable model, making the operation shift when needed.

-Ensures the necessary operating systems, policies, procedures, resources and structures are in place and are maintained to effectively achieve the standards for operational and business excellence.  Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

-Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct

-Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vision/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.
